Welcome to the communities of Anchor Bay!

Located just 30 minutes north of downtown Detroit and the Canadian border, via I-94, we have what real estate folks boast as "location, location, location!" With our lakeside location, water sports and recreation are very popular. And our proximity to the metropolitan Detroit area offers all the fun of the many sports and entertainment venues available.

Anchor Bay, Algonac, Armada, East China, L'Anse Creuse, and New Haven schools are represented in our area. Two community colleges, Macomb and St. Clair, are easily accessible to our residents, as are Wayne State University and the University of Detroit, both located in Detroit. Additionally, the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor is only an hour away. Eastern Michigan University is located in Ypsilanti, near Ann Arbor.
